The Wonderful Foundation exists to steward people, relationships and opportunity with care. We support entrepreneurs, pioneers, culture shapers and churches through intentional formation, trusted community and long-term partnership, creating space for those carrying responsibility to grow with depth, integrity and resilience.
Our mission is not to accelerate people for visibility or pursue short-term momentum, but to walk patiently alongside individuals and communities, cultivating character, discernment and faithful presence over time.
We believe that what people build flows from who they are becoming. When formation is prioritised and accompaniment is sustained, businesses become more just, churches more rooted, and communities more whole.
We seek to strengthen those shaping businesses, organisations and culture so that responsibility is carried wisely and generosity is practiced with integrity. In doing so, we contribute to a marketplace marked not merely by success, but by faithfulness, hope and renewal.
Rooted in the life of the local Church and expressed through a global network of relationships, our work is relational rather than transactional, long-term rather than reactive, and grounded in the conviction that lasting impact grows from depth.
We envision a future where those shaping businesses, churches and communities are not isolated, where generosity is practiced with wisdom and faithfulness, and where responsibility is carried with integrity and hope.
Our vision is for entrepreneurs, pioneers and culture shapers across business, ministry, creativity and community life to be formed with depth, sustained by trusted relationships, and grounded in faith.
We long to see people strengthened not only in what they build, but in who they are becoming, able to navigate complexity with humility, clarity and courage.
We believe that when formation is prioritised and accompaniment is long-term, businesses become more just, communities grow healthier, and the marketplace reflects integrity rather than pressure. In this way, we contribute to a more faithful and renewed marketplace, one shaped not merely by success, but by character and conviction.
This vision is global in scope, yet always rooted in local church, real relationships and faithful presence.

How we believe change happens
We believe meaningful and lasting change begins with people, not programmes. Across cultures and contexts, we have seen that those shaping businesses, churches and communities, particularly emerging entrepreneurs, younger pioneers, and culture shapers stepping into responsibility for the first time, need space for formation, reflection, and trusted accompaniment.
Without this, responsibility becomes isolating, hurried, and unsustainable. We exist to create environments where the next generation is not simply platformed or accelerated, but deeply formed.
We focus on:
- Forming people over time rather than accelerating them for quick outcomes.
- Strengthening communities through relationship rather than pressure.
- Investing in emerging builders and innovators who are shaping the marketplace and culture.
- Partnering deeply with the local Church as a place of rootedness, discernment, and accountability.
We believe that what people build flows from who they are becoming. When younger entrepreneurs and pioneers are well formed and well supported, they carry responsibility with wisdom and resilience.
When generosity is stewarded thoughtfully, resources are directed toward work that is sustainable, just, and life-giving.
Change, in our view, does not emerge from speed, visibility, or performance. It grows through trust, faithfulness, intergenerational wisdom, and long-term commitment, shaping healthier churches, stronger organisations, and a marketplace marked by integrity, creativity, and hope.

The Wonderful Foundation was founded in 2017 by Dan and Claire Maudhub, shaped by many years of leadership across church, business, and community life. Having served as bi-vocational pastors and elders for over 17 years, and within the leadership of a global network of churches, Dan and Claire saw first-hand the challenges faced by leaders navigating faith, vocation, and responsibility. Alongside this, Dan’s experience as an entrepreneur, building and scaling businesses over many years deepened their conviction that leaders in every sphere need formation, support, and trusted community.
The Foundation is led day-to-day by its Executive Director, Jessica Monteiro, who brings extensive experience in leading philanthropy, stewarding high-trust relationships, and shaping values-led giving strategies. With a background spanning brand, business, and partnership development, Jess plays a central role in strengthening the Foundation’s governance, sustainability, and long-term vision.
The Foundation is supported by a wider team and board, bringing experience across church leadership, philanthropy, business, creativity, and community development. Together, they steward the Foundation responsibly, remaining faithful to its purpose and relational in its practice.
